Our BAKE!-cations® are the ultimate experience for the home baker! We guide you through a comprehensive education in baking techniques in a fun, exciting, relaxed, and always hands-on classroom full of good humor and expert instruction. Your BAKE!-cation® includes breakfast and lunch every day, including lunch from Zingerman's Deli on the second day. You'll need an empty suitcase to bring home all the great food you've made!

Because our BAKE!-cations® are so popular that guests like to return year after year, we’ve created a brand new version of our pastry-baking weekend. We'll cover a variety of techniques such as crimping pie dough, par-baking and blind-baking, creaming method, kneading, cooking custard, filling a cake, and more. You’ll learn while creating a great collection of recipes, including quiche Lorraine, puff pastry, palmiers, pecan blondies, Whoopie pies, cheddar bacon scallion scones, Triple Trouble Chocolate cookies, New Deli crumb cake, fruit tarts, and Black Forest torte.

You'll leave BAKE! with our recipes, the knowledge to recreate them at home, all the amazing pastries you made in class, and some great coupons.

The world of pie is big, round (usually), and deep (dish)! In this flaky, filling, and fun weekend we’ll bake a whole gambit of pies—chicken pot pie; fried fruit pie; Patti Pocket hand pies; cream pie; double-crust Jumbleberry pie; calzones pizza pie with Parmigiano Reggiano®; beef pasty pie; Bakehouse signature pecan pie; hot water crust pie with pancetta, white bean, and swiss chard filling; and Mississippi mud pie. Hold onto your rolling pins—this is going to be some weekend!

In this 2-day action-packed baking extravaganza, you'll learn the wide variety of baking techniques behind a savory lineup of baked goods. The roster includes prosciutto and parmesan croissants, parmesan pepper bread with chunks of Parmigiano Reggiano®, quiche Lorraine, beef pasties, potato knishes, Bakehouse cheddar herb scones, demos of our New York-style pizza and maple bacon doughnuts, and so much more!
