Italian Cookies

pignoli pinenut cookies on a sheet tray

Send your cookie jar on a vacation! Italians love cookies almost as much as they love pasta, and the variety of cookies you find across Italy is stunning. In this hands-on class, we get to the basics of making four traditional Italian cookies: twice-baked Cherry Sesame Biscotti; Sicilian Pignoli, wheat-free cookies made with pine nuts, almonds, and hazelnuts; Amaretti from the Lombardy region, also wheat-free and made with almonds; and Sieniese Ricchiarelli, a dense, chewy almond cookie. Biscotto Italiano!

You’ll leave the BAKE! class with our recipes, the knowledge to recreate them at home, and all the tasty Italian cookies you made in class.

Virtual: You will need a stand mixer with a whip attachment for this class.

In-Person: We’ll end class with a tasting of all the Italian cookies we made and you’ll go home with some great coupons.
